Twitter founder Evan Williams posted a message yesterday that was easy to misunderstand: “Met the Dalai Lama today in LA. Pitched him on using Twitter. He laughed.”
Some one had already set up the account @DalaiLama though, one week before Williams met with the religious leader. Five hours after the seemingly dismissive tweet, the @DalaiLama account was listed as confirmed authentic and began publishing messages.

Traveling on the Trans Siberian Railway became an interesting project for me like 2 months ago when a group of friends decided to organize the 9,259km long journey. Now it can be taken also online using YouTube and Google Maps…in 150 hours.
The journey is tracked on Google Maps, with key details being pointed out, such as how far you’ve traveled and how much longer there is to go. If you want to skip ahead to the scenic mountains of Barguzin for example, you’re more than welcome to—and don’t need to pay for a fare.
I’ve tried it but only for 5 minutes because i do not want a spoiler till my actual journey this August but you can embark the 150 hours sofa version here.

TV is moving online, as this first step by HBO illustrates. The service called HBO Go will be available soon but only within the Continental United States
.
It would be nice to lift these restrictions and make even HULU available for us.
