NASA’s Final Shuttle Patch Contest

The final patch design for the Space Shuttle Program has been selected by a NASA committee from a pool of entries by NASA employees and contractors.
NASA selected 15 patches as finalists, which were then voted on by NASA employees and winnowed down by a committee. The People’s Choice winner above was also the judge’s selection.

Boeing test pilots made a cautionary landing at the Moses Lake airport in central Washington over the weekend after experiencing an “uncommanded loss of thrust in one of the engines.” In conclusion this plane started to experience hiccups before being launched on the market. Too bad.

NASA’s Cassini spacecraft is currently doing a retinal scan on Mimas, an eyeball-shaped moon of Saturn that has also been likened to the Death Star of “Star Wars”.
